So recently I've been seeing that some rounds are disabling hacks during the round for 2A-2D. I don't know the exact reason for this, but I can assume that some people:
- don't like to see FSTs and/or
- think that getting points with hacks on easy problems is unfair
I can see it reasonable. But the point is, why are the hacks still disabled after the round? I honestly don't see a good reason for this, and these problems are forever left with weak tests without a chance to add stronger tests. Just to think how many problems get hundreds of hacks on open hack rounds (even aside from the hash attacks), I highly doubt that all these problems' tests are always strong enough, especially when we force pretests=systests so that the number of tests can't be large for these easy problems.
