Could be worse: I got stuck due to local stresstests telling me I'd WA, so I didn't even get to submit for FST or try the next (sometimes easier?) problem.

(sigh/cry)

Once I was FST 4 in a row too, and I lost the belief in myself. I decided to take the "hair challenge" and hope that I will regain it. (Although it takes much more time than I think, since it is not as easy as getting Expert or Specialist).

Even red programmers didn't survive from FST. (Codeforces Round #792 (Div. 1 + Div. 2))

Relatable, I had FST in 3 of the last 5 contests I joined

Round #796 (Div. 1)
Round #792 (Div. 1 + Div. 2)
Global Round 20

Even though pretests could indeed be stronger, I would still blame these FSTs on my own skill issue ._.

It certainly feels bad to get FST and see ratings go bye bye, but I think it's better to keep your eyes on the future contests and keep a good mentality in order to perform better in those.

I've had an FST in 3 out of the 4 last contests I've done. Although kind of a skill issue. :/

People averaging <1 FST per contest in 2022: skill issue

Me in 2018:
