I think codeforces should have two different count for upvote and downvote.
See above image,
both of them having totally different meaning.
According to current scheme 50 upvote and 49 downvote = 1 upvote.
What is your opinion on this ?

You aren't even sure if its how this social credit score "contributions" works like that lol are u?
First of all , I was talking about blogs and comments not for "contributions".
Oh my bad it still the same Its not sure that its upvotes — down votes Maybe there is a secret formula or even other factors
Lucky
No one is lucky in this shity community (not all the community sucks tho) look for example at my comments being downvoted to oblivision without no reason while troll comments like your comments don't has a single downvote even sometimes you get upvotes This community makes me sick
people that spam nonsense without thinking through what they are saying vis-a-vis the context are generally downvoted. In my humble opinion, you are one of them
btw i know that some of my comments are deserve to be downvoted im sure however, what the mistake i had done to get heavily downvoted for answer a question asking for help or whts wrong i did in first comment in this thread and how its in anyway is worth than these trolls i see you are the one who "spaming nonsense"
A good rule of thumb for commenting or posting blogs is to not do them until you are CM or higher if you want to get positive contribution.
Lucky
Unnecessary.
Agreed.
Like sometime if we want to see that how many people are agree with some 'comment' and how many of disagree with this then it would be helpful.
Because in current scheme , as you mentioned +1 means only one person agree with that content but the reality is that 50 agree and 49 disagree.
I don't like it b/c it incentivizes divisive topics, bickering and "picking a side". I know internet in-group-out-group fighting can be fun in moderation/good-humor, but it's unproductive at best and damaging to communities at worst. I don't think it's something Codeforces needs to encourage.
While we're here, would it be also possible to add changing your votes? I can't recall how many times I misclicked these buttons...
same
Yes, once I wanted to downvote a naive idea, but I upvoted for it mistakenly.
i think its good, but i have an idea: if the result is over $$$0$$$, the upvote sum should be colored, otherwise, the downvote sum should be colored.
It means: $$$\color{#008000}{+3}\color{#c0c0c0}{-2}$$$ and $$$\color{#c0c0c0}{+2}\color{#ff0000}{-20}$$$
Or: $$$\color{#c0c0c0}{+2}\color{#c0c0c0}{-2}$$$
