TRASH
Link LoL i thought why there are too many submissions while i can't even think of an approach. Then i searched the problem on YouTube and found my answer. It's good that it was available online otherwise i would have thought myself a dumb person because there were just too many submissions.
Exactly, this is what happens in all codechef contests.
I thought for 2 hours but couldn;t able to code it but someone, i know solved it and now when I checked ,his code is exactly the same code as in video, really sad.
why did codechef stop hosting cook-off and lunchtime ? literally only starters
Because it is now owned by a degenerate shitstain called unacademy who don't give a flying fuck for the spirit of CP and only want to extract money out of unsuspecting youngsters just entering college. It's all about the money for them, fuck the quality, just like most, if not all other fuckall Indian edtech brands.
plus more degraded rating system -_-
Back in the day I used to wait for CC contests every month — cook off, lunchtime. The UI wasn't that great, the forum wasn't that polished, and it took ages to update ratings and stuff. But at least the community was excellent, there was a lot to learn from problems, cool moderators like vijju123, problemsetters like mgch and taran_1407's editorials made it an overall great place to be around, especially looking back. Nowadays the admins are toxic, or to say the least, unprofessional, community is unwelcoming, forum is dead, solutions are sold, long contests are gone, moderators have moved on. CC under DirectI was awesome, even when the contests used to be sponsored by sharechat, even then stuff was so cool. The "revamped" discuss forum made it look dead, "new and polished UI" made the platform soulless. Now they are asking for membership, making it a "freemium" platform.
Fuck you codechef, fuck you unacademy. Is unacademy that broke to not be able to run a fucking CP platform? I don't know, but maybe if you guys weren't that blood thirsty for money, maybe CC would've been a great, great, platform to be around! CF is proof to the fact that if you are a good enough platform, community members are willing to sponsor you in your endeavors. Fuck you codechef, you fucked the entire sport up. Fuck off.
I do login back from time to time but definitely the experience is not the same. Glad to see a familiar name btw :)
Thanks for the contest. I enjoyed it.
i didn't find editorial
please anyone explain how to solve this ques
Sorry for the late reply. You can find the editorial here.
Is CRED hiring thing legit? Did anyone get a call? Infact, I wanted to ask whenever a company sponsors a contest on codechef for hiring, do people get interview calls, given that they have a very good rank? Just curious, it's their decision at the end of the day.
Last time they shortlisted me for the further process(they shortlisted around 200 peoples), but from the starter 61, I haven't heard anyone reciving any call for the further process.
Oh nice, good to know.
