As 2022 is coming to an end , there is no more time to achieve the goals we wanted in it .
So what are the goals you put before 2022 and you achieved , and what goals remain to 2023 to happen ?
For me the goals I didn't manage to achieve and I hope to make them true in 2023:
- Qualify to IOI 2022 : I was the 5th in the deciding contest and only top 4 go to IOI ): hope i make it to IOI 2023
- Reach CM: didn't happen but I was near
- Go to ACPC teens : I couldn't participate in the first round
Goals I managed to achieve :
- Qualified to IIOT 2022 and got a bronze medal

My goals this year were to become Specialist and have a good ranking in our local olympiad, I managed to become Specialist and I have a really good ranking locally. For 2023 I want to become a Candidate Master and idk

Well, most of my goal examinations are left to be conducted (INOI and INMO, which lead to IOI and IMO TST) but above are the goals which were in 2022 :)
Hoping to qualify for IOI and IMO TST this year (not really thinking about after that).

No. Still haven't solved div2 D, two times in a row.
My main goal was getting to IOI 2022, which happily was granted even though I got 14th at the national OI leading to it.
Hope we meet at IOI 2023 ;)

This year I was able to become a CM, even though I was a newbie. Now I have lost a little in the rating, but I am sure that in a couple of contests I will finally recover.
For the next year I set myself the goal of becoming at least an IG. I believe that I can achieve this goal. Also, I want to participate in IOI.

My goal for 2022 was to reach specialist which I achieved ╮(.❛ᴗ❛.)╭. I hope that I reach CM by the end of this year!
Last year i became expert, i was a newbie on jan 1 2022. Goal for 2023 se to reach 2000 rating.
I am an expert. However, I didn't promote to Gold

2022 was a blazing year for me, Even if I didn't manage to reach sky blue, or get a good increase in my rating, I hope that I will be able acheive even bigger goals in the future, and everyone here too!
I had a few small steps toward my goal this year, including :
Qualifying to my National Olympiad (2x)
Getting a Gold medal in a National Competition (SSPT)
Qualifying to a better position in the National Programming Contest for Teams than last year
and a bunch of other acheivements in the field on Informatics
That might not feel as much, but they are small steps to hopefully bigger ones
But i still have hope for the upcoming future, some of my goals are :
Getting a Gold Medal in my National Olympiad making me part of the national team!
Becoming an Expert on Codeforces
Trying my best to reach higher stages in the National Team
How will I acheive that? By Balancing my life around Training, Learning, Teaching, Advancing

A good contest motivates me...then boom.. 2 bad contest..I am on the same position I was before....Endless loop of alternate +1-1+1-1+1-1...
It's ok. Look at my rating plot!
Rating doesn't matter too much, don't beat yourself up over a bad contest. I got 4 bad contests in a row after hitting my max of 1940 and went below 1500, and now I'm in 1600s. However, I got 3rd place in the Syrian team selection for IOI, why? Because I stopped looking at rating as a measure of my overall skill, but as a measure of my CF Contest skill.
