Why so few contests recently?

Does anyone know why there has been a (relative) decrease in frequency of contests recently :(

      Not joking. CF staff, authors, etc more likely to be on vacation in the summer.

      Statistically July has the least amount of contests I think (didn't actually ran a script, feel free to do it and share the results).

      There are 5 contests scheduled and very likely (statistically) at least one more will show up.

      In the meantime, if you're so obsessed with rating, there's this cool thing

        Hi, last July there were 10 contests but last August there were only 9, last June there were also 10, while last April there were only 8. (counting rated ones) so i guess July didn't have the least amount of contests:) but ur right about not having to be so obsessed with rating.
