I cant compete in these contest

From a long time I am stuck and cant do more 1-2 question of div 2 and last 2-3 question of div 3 contest. And i know the problem is that i directly start solving the problems without learning anything . Can any help me how to start fresh .

As such not much is required to be pupil:- 1) Basic Maths(Sieve, Prime Factorization) 2) Write Brute Force Fast 3) Learn A bit of Binary Search maybe(A bit optional) 4) Think Constructive Algo 5) Do first question quite fast

How To Practice 1) Give Virtual contest and upsolve one more questions than you were able to do. 2) Solve more of 900-1000 problems rather than just solving 800, although for every 5 900-1000 questions you could do 1 800 and slowly slowly when you are comfortable with a rating range increment by 100.
