Hello codeforces community! I hope you all are doing well. I was wondering why problem ratings are taking so much time to update. It has been over 3 weeks since edu round 154 and over 2 weeks since round 895, yet the ratings of the problems have not been updated. Please let me know if anyone is aware of why this is taking place!

Thank you!

Why do problem ratings take so much time to update?

This is a good question, so I don't know why this is being downvoted. In the recent past, problem ratings used to come out at a much faster rate.

Cuz, It is looking like another blog that is asking about the person's rating.

Some people, unfortunately, as soon as they see a low-rated person, they do a “Down Vote” without any thinking, and also if it is a “High Rated” person write anything even "Spam", they give them a large Up Vote without providing value, perhaps if the same content comes from a low-rated person, they take a high “Down Vote”.

By the way, I expect this comment will receive a large number of “Down votes”.

Because there are a lot of participants and therefore a big expected number of cheaters. Currently the anticheat mechanisms on Codeforces are semiautomatic, they include a lot of code reading which Mike seems to do himself. This is to minimize the risks of type I errors.

In Div. 1 rounds there are much less participants, therefore much less manual work, and the ratings are out there shortly after the system testing.

Damn I see. Must be quite difficult for Mike to do it by himself.
