Algorithmic battles
I agree, people always freak out when I tell them I'm addicted to cp
In my country nobody even flinched
Wait, what?
What are the Serbians upto lmao
Oh, I thought CP was for Communist Parties
Why? A lot of peeps in my college love CP.
That's how I always start a conversation with someone with a non CS-background
cons:
problems like (aa+bb)(a+b) arent related to algorithms
that's under pros
I agree nowadays the "programming" part is getting lesser.
cons: backward compatibility issues
Con: ones its done, someone will write the same blog about renaming it to competitive programming. Its a vicious circle.
Couldn't Agree More. Moreover, This blog neither gave me TwentyOneHUndred nor I busted.
Algorithmic bugaboo-solving is even better
It's all fun and games until someone calls their contest "Computing Bugaboo Tournament" and it abbreviates to CBT
But then I will get in trouble if I say I like CP if name is changed
I support this, one time when I was trying to go Competitive Programming Book's Methodstosolve, my university's IT flagged it and reported me... (I had to connect to a hotspot to get the hint for the problem, then they unblocked it like a week later.)
Problems like (x+y)*(x-y) not related to Algorithms :D
