Is 1600's the new specialist ?

I attempted the recent contest and got extra ratings to get to 1600+ , but the contest page of my account as well as the rating changes of the contest shows that I became specialist .

I am now worried about it :( , I was filled with joy of reaching expert but it doesnt show for me ...

Is it normal ?? System coordinators , I request you to please look into it , I dont know how to tag someone , its my first post

    Any idea how to upload Picture into blog ?? Cause its not related to magic , rating changes on the contest page shows that I became specialist , also my personal contest page too

      I think it's related to magic. I became gm but rating changes page and contests page show that I became lgm.

          One explanation might be that it (Codeforces) kind of doesn't care if you did. And treats everything as assigned and refrains from changing titles. (It would feel bad for some specialist who used magic for expert, to get demoted to pupil after a new year contest and see it immediately or something). You can use magic for expert till then for personal satisfaction though :)

most probably it will be back to normal after 10th january 2024. when all magic will be undone.

This guy has a valid concern, I don't think this should be downvoted! (Visit this guy's contest page it shows "Became specialist" in front of the latest contest! (in which he crossed the 1600 mark))
I understand it might be a bug, but then he found it! Why downvote him?

    Yes , even the contest rating changes shows i reached specialist with 1600+ , dont know what kind of bug it is , thank you for suporting me on this topic ..

Your profile shows your max is 1612 (expert). It should be fixed in some time. Don't worry.
