SkyWave2024's blog

By SkyWave2024, history, 7 months ago, In English

In this blog, zh0ukangyang was banned because of the policy of using a single account. Few days passed, PinkieRabbit reached legendary grandmaster by Codeforces Round 941 (Div. 1). However, he was found as a cheater in this blog. He broke the rule of codeforces contest. We could clearly know that 'The contestants are forbidden to talk about subjects, related to the problems, with anybody, including other contestants' in Mike's blog. FIVE days passed, there is nothing happened to PinkRabbit. Is it too hard for Mike to solve this problem? I don't think so. The evidence is certain. So I can say there is no justice in codeforces?

A strong man with 2 accounts in the top 10, and a cheater who only climbed to LGM ahead of schedule, which one has a greater impact to Codeforces?

I think it's not THAT fair, but it's not unreasonable either. Zky still has an LGM account, and Rabbit has an LGM account as well. I think we should be flexible in handling problems.

However, if more people think Rabbit doesn't have the ability to reach LGM, then we must punish him, let the justice do.

Any Evil Will Eventually be Brought to Justice!

this all reminds me of the people who say "just get better and cheaters will be below you and can't affect you anymore"

how many of them are lgm

PinkieRabbit is still a very strong contestant but it is unclear what level/type of punishment would be fit in a situation that serves as a proper deterrent. If it is true he was stripped of luogo admin position that is probably better than anything cf can do, I don't know what is proper besides skip all submissions in recent contests or maybe ban account (but he'll make another encouraging other unwanted behavior. they could erase all data on current but it'd be annoying from a historical perspective). Banning an alt account to enforce a single account policy is a pretty obvious decision in comparison.

What about you SkyWave2024? You are using an alt with image and nick similar to another person SkyWave2022 to hide your personal information and attract attention.

How can you write a post? You only have competed three times and solved >=1 problem twice in them. Are you trusted?
