Two days ago I wrote the following comment:
Mike doesn't care about cheaters, that's why nothing happened to pinkierabbit. Now cheaters are authoring rounds.
Then I went to eat breakfast and came back to see this:

What's going on here MikeMirzayanov? I don't see how this comment breaks the rules. Cheating is condoned with zero response while mods instasmack me for writing this? Reminds me of stefdasca's blog getting randomly deleted for no reason.

but I love busting
It is not cool that you were muted for that but I have to ask: what is wrong with cheaters authoring rounds?
any random things like selling solutions can happen. We shouldn't presume guilt, but he had already cheated.
Problems getting leaked for money is like the worst-case scenario. Even if that happens and the issue becomes apparent, the cf admins can always remove the cheaters from the standings and rerate the round. If it happens and no one ever finds out, then the problems were probably leaked to like 15 people at most, which would hardly impact the ratings of other users. My point is that there is very little risk in letting cheaters create rounds. Banning cheaters from creating rounds ultimately means less rounds for us.
As I said in my original comment, I just want him to say that what he did was wrong, and that he will never do it again, and return the 2 TON he got from cheating. Is it really that hard?
Indeed. But PinkieRabbit is telling everyone “yo, go cheating and Codeforces is nothing”, which means we will have to spend more energy on checking plagiarism. And also, we don't distinguish “banning cheaters from creating rounds” and “banning cheaters from participating rounds”. What we should do is to BAN the cheater according to the rules.
bump
I don't really understand PinkieRabbit, can you explain that case more clearly?
You can read it from here
Cheating report comments are also getting banned, even tho they do not violate cf rules
I think there should be some admin revision over the system actions, because those highly rated cheaters can report such accs and potentially cause them content removal and bans ?
You can see below, _H_A_W_K_S_ getting downvoted after he thanked Heap_OverFlow for solving his VS code issue, heap help comment had been downvoted too potentially causing him a read-only mode.
Refer to this comment
Such content lead to read-only mode for heap, and you can clearly notice that high rated master-cheater, I even saw comments from indian accs that his name on tg is winner and do sell solutions.
