In EPIC Institute of Technology Round August 2024 (Div. 1 + Div. 2), I failed to solve D2 and got -29, and look at the room I'm in! Pupil and specialist were extremely good at coding and they won ratings from naive CMs just like me!

Just in one room two cheaters came and defeat me so much and I can't help imagining how many cheaters are there in the whole contest! Even problem E of Div1+2 can be solved by cheaters! Now cheaters can cheat their ways to Master! There has to be some measures to fight the cheaters (this is what we were asking for since months ago, but nothing happened). And is it possible to restrict some languages can be used in contests so cheaters have less languages to convert to and can be easier found by plagiarism checker? (e.g. C/C++, python/pypy, java, maybe kotlin?)
In the end, MikeMirzayanov please, at least skip these guys' contest (klu-2100030642cser can probably cheat the plagiarism checker again)

College placements are going to start very soon in India. Placement seasons starts from end September — mid October. These guys cheat to bloat their resume and secure a job. There is rampant cheating going on all coding platforms due to this. It deeply saddens me to see my countrymen do all this. My placement season too will start very soon. But I don't cheat in codeforces contensts. How is cheating in a practice contest going to help you clear an online assessment exam?
But how are these companies not aware of the scale of cheating in Codeforces right now. They would at least check the applicant's profile to verify it's their account right? Otherwise everyone can claim they are a grandmaster.
What happened in India is that a bunch of youtube jokers advertised cp as something that can land you jobs or something like that (which is not true if you are under 2000 rated, because there are very few non development related jobs here). So a lot of people, especially those from bad colleges and with bad resumes, started farming rating on cf thinking this would land them a job somehow. Those youtubers who created this hype get to sell courses, while many students don't find this fun at all are wasting their time. Cheating is not taken seriously here because its very common to cheat in school and college exams, because of which many students get into the habit of cheating everywhere. These guys don't get that you will be required to prove your skills in an interview, where you won't get to cheat. Codeforces ratings are mostly useless in the context of job applications.

Man some of these new Indians joining CF are spoiling the whole fun of CP and destroying the community by cheating. This is literally the most disrespectful thing for the people who are solving problems, putting efforts to be a good coder. It's such a shame. I really think most of the cheaters are from India because two years ago there weren't many Indians on CF now all of a sudden this crowd spoiled the platform. I mean I have solved 300+ problems(in my previous account) and I never even touched specialist, but I am ok with it cuz I wasn't very consistent. Remember "PROCESS TAKES TIME" Intuition is not something that will be improved in just few days or months! Cheaters are pure disgrace

Hey MikeMirzayanov, I suggest enabling Div. 1 users to report suspicious users for being cheaters which will be shown in the admin dashboard of Codeforces. Admins will review these suspicious users and take actions which in my opinion may be account deletion.
Cool idea. Build some sort of Codeforces Overwatch system like DotA 2 or CS:GO Overwatch.

This is a list of cheaters from the last Div4 round. All of them copied solutions and solved all problems in just a few minutes. Some of them even used ChatGPT.
Additionally, EVOOO was skipped in the last Round. If you look at his previous rounds (Like this contest that he solves 7 problems in 15 minutes), you'll notice something seems wrong.
After seeing this contest and the time difference between his submissions I think that this is a shared account

like I am sorry but I didn't wanted to skip the contest, but I was as a guest in my friends house, so I wrote codes from my friends account, and then when I got home I submitted them from my account as well, I didn't knew if it was considered as a cheating(in fact it was bed form me because I started submitting 2hours later so contribution was big)

the first cheater-liked submission in D2 is from Way.To.Cp.01 at 00:42, at that time only 49 people solved this problem. I've read most of their code and didn't find any cheater-like code.
As those people are mainly GM,IGM,LGM, they may care about their rating so chances are they won't have time to modify their own code and give it to cheaters.
Check Way.To.Cp.01's previous submissions you can find that he has used the same template for a long time. Did he really solved problem D2 in 9 minutes and leak the code ???

Actually, my rank was 1705, and after the cheaters were skipped, my rank comes to 1249. That is to say there are 456 cheaters in top 1705, way more than 1 out of 10 :(
this is what have been caught till now, the real number may be even larger. I think this is the most codeforces round ever till now in the number of cheaters, mainly because of placements and internships season in india (as mentioned above in the comments)
