Div. 1: Where legends compete. Div. 4: Where legends begin their journey (and sometimes cry a little).
Is it allowed to participate in both Div 1 and Div 2 together?
I suppose you can participate in either of the two but not both based on your rating, like masters and above in div 1 and all lower in div2(not sure though).
But like technically I am a div 4 rn but div 3 and 2 are also rated for me. So under this system div 1 should also be rated for people less than master right?
No, div.1 has a rating lower bound of (I think?) 1900.
So a candidate masters can give both div 1 and div 2?
No; During a Div1/Div2 round, all participants under 1900 participate in Div2 and all those above participate in Div1. Candidate masters can also participate in Div2 only rounds, which have an upperbound of 2100. But because Div1s always have a Div2 along with them, it is no use (and more harmful) to let people of lesser rating participate there in the stead of Div2s.
I think that they're adding back pure Div.1s
