First of all, this is a throwaway acount.

On my main codeforces account there was a direct message from an account that was created only 4 days ago, offering me a job for at least 600$ monthly. They said they were "interested in my skills of solving algorithmic problems on this site". I'm not sure what to make of that, as my rating is just around 1950, and there should be many people who are way more suitable than me.

What's more weird is that my username on that account is very innapropriate for a corporate setting. Furthermore, I'm only 17, and it should appear on my account that I'm still in high school in Viet Nam (the person is not from Viet Nam). There is still a possibility that they are unaware of my age.

At the end of the message, there's a google form link to fill up and set up an interview. Apparently, it doesn't require any private or sensitive information that is dangerous to be leaked.

I won't name the person who messaged me, as this might be a legit opportunity for me or there might have been an accidental mistake somewhere; and if that's the case, I don't want to damage their reputation.

Are people often be offered jobs if they perform well on Codeforces? (assuming that being a Candidate Master is well enough)

English is not my first language, I appologize in advance if there are any mistakes or unclear details.

If there is a job offer, it will likely be more formal and sent through your email. The only job I saw on Codeforces was about training an AI model (mentioned in a blog). Not sure if it's cool, to be honest, but you can ask about the nature of the work, what they're doing, etc

I received it too. They took a short interview and asked me to do a small coding assignment. After that I received the offer but I rejected it (because I am still in college). I don't know what happens after that.

You shouldn't ask us, as we don't know such things for sure and can only guess, same as you. You should ask someone from CF staff. If you wanted to warn people about scams, that's nice, but then you should reveal the scammer's username after you know for sure.

Wait, it's an offer through CF, not of a job on CF? Then you can never know for sure if it's a scam as recruiters do random shit sometimes. There's no cost to contacting everyone through every channel and writing the same generic shit. You need to figure things out case by case as it can be an annoying recruiter with a legit offer. If you think you're too young to try such things, you can just tell them no, then it doesn't matter how legit it is.
