I think 1-2 contests each month is sufficient for 99% people.

if your first comment has been upvoted, it doesn't mean that your second comment about the same topic will give you contributions as well so better not to beg for it...

yup around 10 contests per month seems a great figure ( tho as of now I would prefer all 10 to be of div2)

Instead of complaining, we should really be thankful that we even have 1 contest per month. I've tried (and failed) to think of problems before, and I've figured out that either my IQ is too low, or the problemsetters are in contact with otherworldly entities that can "come up with" tricks that would never occur to humans. This is backed up by the fact that the only half-decent problem I ever "created" happened when I was dreaming.

We should really be grateful for even 1 contest per month, because the problemsetters are either high IQ, or they are in contact with otherworldly entities. In both cases, you can very easily see how those sort of people would much rather do more fulfilling things than sit around creating or receiving ideas for problems.

you may haven't seen many problems. most of the problems which are in the contest aren't made by the writers, they are famous theory problems but just told in the shape of a short story and has test cases. of course some of them are really good and interesting but not all of them. for example 74TrAkToR makes boolshit contest which are only based on theory and nothing interesting.

I have seen many problems. You can even check my account. The thing about it is that each problem brings something unique. Would anyone even participate if they didn't? Sure, you might be able to solve them, but can you actually THINK of that? Where do you even start there? These people might be geniuses who can just think of weird things like that. Their minds might even have access to other places that most people just can't access.

If you still say the same thing, then I invite you to try to create a good problem.

Dude, why do you try to attribute everything to IQ? It's just problem setting. Sure, there are genius problems, but not as many as you think.

Think of some random property, find some math textbooks, look at older problems and make small changes. Find a random sequence, add XOR, OR, or other operations, and ask people to construct it. Do random operations on an array and see what happens over a range. You could try to tweak dynamic programming problems, or throw in some bit manipulation, modular arithmetic, I could keep going.

The only problems are some ideas may not work, you may not have the skill level to solve the problem you come up with, or the idea is just too standard, and this is where the actual problem setting skill comes in. Just like your cf rating, problem setting can definitely be improved, although the quality of your problems may be constrained a bit by your CP skill level.

It’s fucking stupid that you make everything about IQ. Maybe you're just stupid.

can't agree more to what ChuckNorizz said.

I can think of new problems if I think for long enough (Im CM, have made 2400 level problems). If you can not do it, you have just not tried hard enough or maybe you are actually stupid. In your case you 123gjweq2 have clearly shown your stupidity by attributing it to IQ because I strongly believe that is not the case.

What a big fat liar you are! "I'm CM, have made 2400 rated problems." says the guy who can't even solve first few problems of Division 2 contest without cheating.

Look at yourself first before calling someone else stupid because I don't think you even have 69 IQ based on your behavior.
