This is not self-promotion (or...), but you can read how I train here: https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/134585

Fun fact: after writing 3 virtual contests, I got +210 in the next two online contests)

      I usually do the following:

      • Solve as much as possible without editorial (sometimes hard problems for you can take 3-4 hours or more)

      • Then I read editorial for the next problem I couldn't solve without editorial. I'm trying to imagine how I would have had to think to solve this problem next time (logical steps, simplify statement, etc). This is usually where you learn new cool tricks. This is usually where you start hating your life (if you spend enough time on the first point).

  • Watch lots of anime. I think this is self explanatory.
  • Solve problems that appropriately challenge you(e.g. 200 above your rating). Every practice session try to push past your limits.
  • Don't practice if you are very tired, it will demotivate you and you will waste time. However when you practice, remove distractions and focus as much as possible.
  • Participate in live contests whenever you can.
  • Do some sort of physical training(running, gym, calisthenics or sports) at least 4 times a week. "Mens sana in corpore sano."
  • Start looksmaxxing.
  • Meditate for at least 15 minutes a day.
  • Look at the editorial only when you run out of ideas.
  • Socialise more.
  • Find someone that inspires you, for example an anime character.
