Ar7e9's blog

Hello, Since I don't know how to add images to the blog, I'll be copy pastying the message that I received.

Attention! Your solution 282335017 for the problem 2014D significantly coincides with solutions Ar7e9/282335017, BFR/282368362. Such a coincidence is a clear rules violation. Note that unintentional leakage is also a violation. For example, do not use ideone.com with the default settings (public access to your code). If you have conclusive evidence that a coincidence has occurred due to the use of a common source published before the competition, write a comment to post about the round with all the details. More information can be found at http://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/8790. Such violation of the rules may be the reason for blocking your account or other penalties. In case of repeated violations, your account may be blocked.

I've been accused of copying from this unknown (to me) person BFR in problem D of codeforces round 974.

First off, I don't use any online ides, I code on my personal vim setup. (If you want proof of that I can perhaps attach screenshots of my vim setup and also provide you my vimrc if anyone needs it.)

Second off, the problem was too simple and perhaps our coding styles are similar and the checker flagged it. My current skill level isn't that high but I can say with great conviction that it is certainly higher than the problem I've been flagged for. The problem was fairly simple, and guess what, that div 3. round was the best round I've written till date; and I was unfortunately flagged on it and didn't receive positive delta that I was very much hoping for.

To fix this, I tried commenting on this blog post. But instead of the situation getting fixed, I got downvotes instead, which is fine I care very little about that.

I urge the admins and whoever is responsible for all this to return my positive delta.

If you need further proofs or whatever, please let me know. I don't know what to do under this situation.

Thank you.

Round 974 was a long time ago. Did you receive this recently?

Nope, I received it around 4 weeks back. I was waiting for them to fix it, but nothing happened, so I posted this now.

Maybe you got downvoted in that thread because all you said was "the codes arent even similar lmao".

The codes are exactly the same. The only differences are changed variable names and putting some stuff on the same line or vice versa.

yes, as I said I care very little about those downvotes. I've elaborated much more on this blog. I just want this situation getting resolved.
