CM after taking a break for nearly a year

maybe if i take another break for one more year, i can reach master, what do u guys think?

That's odd. I experienced severe degeneration just from taking a one-month break. I was able to solve *1700 problem comfortably before break but now I cannot solve *1400 with 1/2 probability.

    well it's more of just taking a break from codeforces, i still did problems and learnt more algorithms, though i did take several half month-2 months break, but i think i picked everything back up rather quickly

    getting a gf

    jk. i think everyone has their own definition of it, you might realize it yet, but i think that's what you need to do if you want a happy life

    (although mine is probably getting a gf)

      "although mine is probably getting a gf" -> Think of something bigger.. Think of all the people who have got a gf, are they eternally happy or just happy for sometime (maybe in their adulthood) ?

I feel the same way. I reached the Expert rating two months ago, but haven't competed since the start of the new semester. I participated in a competition a few days ago and felt that I've improved!

Of course, I have been doing some practice over the past two months, but I haven’t participated in any competitions.
