Here is everything we know about the 2025 OIs so far (I'll update this whenever new information is announced):
Note: Information with (?) wasn't found in any official website and might be wrong.
Feel free to share information about other OIs (except national olympiads) in the comments and I'll add them.
UPD: Since the post was getting a bit messy, I grouped all the olympiads by region and whether they are a junior olympiad. I hope the new format is helpful.

Azerbaijan is host country for EJOI 2025.
Thanks! Updated.
APIO 2025 — Xishan, Jiangsu, China
CNOI 2025 — Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China
Bruh APIO is hosted by China again? I hope it's not like last year
you bro donot sleep
I slept around 11 PM and woke up around 8 AM
what are you going to do now?
I solved a problem and now I'm going to the gym
but it's too early and friday
Even better
Thanks! I added APIO.
What's CNOI?
The national OI contest in China. Participants have to get good results in this year's CNOI to enter China Team Training&Selection for IOI'26.
Oh, OK. Thanks for mentioning it. I'm not going to add national olympiads, since the list would end up way too long, though.
Note that we only know Chinese students will take part in APIO 2025 in Xishan, Jiangsu. It does not mean APIO 2025 will be hosted by China. In fact, it's likely not to be hosted by China, since the host country changes every two years.
Thanks for letting me know. I'll remove this for now (unless QuotientMartingale, or any other user, has any information on this).
ok sry, it's held in Uzbekistan. My bad, I thought the announcement of Chinese division was the global announcement.
It's fine, such mistakes are expected especially considering that info about some OIs is often hard to find or uncertain. That's why I made sure to mark unofficial info with (?).
I'll update the blog soon, thanks!
China Win IOI2025
Don't be too confident, every opponent deserves to be taken seriously
Uh-oh.
WEOI 2025 will be held in Volterra, Italy on 27th-29th June 2025.
[call for tasks here]
Thanks! Added.
Bro, how many european contests are there?
There's also Baltic and Western European — basically 4 reagional plus EJOI, EGOI and junior regionals.
They're a lot, but few countries are actually eligible to participate in more than 4: regional, junior regional, EJOI and EGOI.
The Baltic OI will be held in Toruń, Poland on the 24th-29th of April. And the CEOI will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania on the 7th-13th of July.
Thanks! Added
The 2025 edition of IIOT will take place between May 30 and June 3 in Hungary.
If your country wants to participate to the contest, you can check out the instructions here.
You can check the past problems here

Indian National Olympiad in Informatics, 2025 (INOI-2025) to be held on Sunday, 9th February 2025 from 2PM — 5PM.
Reference: https://www.iarcs.org.in/inoi/current.php#ico2025
Please update this data too on your blog.
Thanks, however, as I mentioned in the blog, I prefer not to add national OIs
I understand your decision. Still, I would request to consider listing national Olympiads too as not all of the listings currently accept worldwide participation. So, if Europe, Asia and Africa level entries have made it to the list, then within these continental categories you may list the national regions as well.
The reason I don't add national OIs is not because not every country can participate but because it would be way too long, so it would be hard for me to update and for everyone to use.
The 2025 ICPC World Finals will be held in Azerbaijan.
Thanks, but I don't plan on adding ICPC (its format is much different than the format of an OI, plus it's one of the most organized programming competitions I know, I think, so there's no reason to have it here).
Website of Balkan Olympiad in Informatics 2025: https://boi2025.anpc.it/
Wow, there's a site already? That's pretty fast for BOI. Thanks!
How about ROI (Russian National Olympiad)?
Thanks, however, as I mentioned in the blog, I prefer not to add national OIs
Interesting to know that a guest(Non-balkan country) country can host a Balkan Olympiad in Informatics.
Italy was approved as a member country a few years ago I believe (but yes, it's funny)
oooomar will win boi 2025!
ayayayay oooooooo ayayay ooooooo
recommendation: people that participate in IOI, should do some lungmaxxing :shouting: :fire:
no, like for real, the altitude from bolivia is really high, and oxygen is really low for people who live in lower heights. gotta do the impossible: some consistent cardio

I wonder if you're removing olympiads which are already finished. If not, then there is IZhO hosted by Kazakstan in Jan.
I'm not removing finished olympiads, this blog was just posted after IZhO (And I also didn't know any information about it).
Is there a specific reason you want me to add it even though it has already finished? I can add it, but I don't think it would actually be useful.
I didn't know that it was posted after IZhO and I have no specific reason it to be added to the list. I just wanted to inform you about the olympiad because I thought you may not know about it.
OK, I'm not going to add it then, but thanks for letting me know
Can anyone participate online olympics around the world?
Some olympiads have online mirrors (sometimes at the time of the competition, sometimes later) where anyone can participate. If I find a link for one I'll add it to the blog.
