This is my first blog post and it's going to be a set of questions. ACM regional is getting closer and my friends and I are having an argument as to who must lead the team. We are turning to you, experienced coders and former ACMers, to give us advice.
- What does a team leader do and how to elect one?
- What are collaboration strategies?
What if i say you that there can be no leader in a team?
Could you please elaborate ?
Different teammates can share role of leader. One day one of them can be a leader, and another day another teammate can be a leader
That is pretty logical but again what is the role of a leader ?
Be a man! Best way for a real man to decide who is a team leader is a fistfight. Punch each other in the face as hard as you can. Last one standing is a trueborn leader, real alpha male, pride of your team. But remember, use only fists and aim only at his face, you don't want to be a sissy girl, slaping all around or cracking the other guys nuts. After you decided who is the leader go drink some beer and fuck all the bitches. This way you'll boost your teams morale and bring more brutal manliness and spirit of true brotherhood. These instructions will lead you to glory and titles, for sure.

You can take a ruler and select team leader the one with the longest ... Oh no, you are muslims. Anyway you can measure the length of yours sticks of dynamite.
PS: I just do not understand why do you mentioned your religion. And this stupid joke was my answer.
When I said "we are muslims" I only meant it as a joke (we can't fuck bitches all the time x)). AlThough we can use dynamite for other things :D
