i think mike is too tired to implement that. also after plag check majority cheaters are removed from leaderboard.

It definitely is difficult. Also, who is going to monitor the reports? I don't even think the comment report thing gets monitored. I have reported you for misinformation just to prove my point.
If they add a report system, then Codeforces will need at least 40 pro coders to monitor :(! The mobile number idea maybe the best idea?
Monitoring is different from implementing. I was only referring to adding a report button and a modal on a submission/profile

a sort of digital oracle where approved users above a certain rating could vote on a case by case basis

so like a frontend to report people then approved people can vote wether it was actual cheating also a feature to restrict users from reporting to prevent it from being weaponized
I think That report system is necessary in CF, because CF profile really matters in collage and placements. They have to try about report system even is it is tough

Maybe some lucky guys do it fast. After all, I have seen weak persons who write code super fast, and maybe everyone just played poorly or didn't take the contest seriously...

Hey Mike Mirzayanov , it's a humble request to please implement the report system . This will make contest more fair as we can report the cheaters more effectively and the rankings will reflect the true potential of the users in that scenario .
Also this technique is scalable because after contest each person checks his performance or rankings as compared to their immediate neighbors which will automatically be able check for cheaters and report them . Believe me this will be game changer .

There should be a new system which asks for any previous high level accounts ID (if they had) and remove all the pupils, specialists and even experts (with rating close to 1600) from top RANKS unless they connect there old high level IDs with with the NEW ones (they may have started new ids) ... Basically a DFS search on IDs that will be connected to PREVIOUS accs and if any id is found that can achieve such good ranks then that ID will not get BANNED otherwise you know!
Codeforces have a rule which stated that you can only own 1 account. So, linking between accounts means crossing out the previous rule. Sorry to say but your solution is not reasonable.

I said suppose I am at Expert but now I want to start a new account so that I reach expert again soon (in less time) ... now obviously being a newbie I can solve div2 upto D/E (bcz I was Expert before) but that would be suspicious ... so linking my acc with previous high rated acc will neglify that thing

I don't know why it's look so tough to caught cheaters simply analyze everyone CF profile .The cheaters contest standing is very good in those recent contest with the help of Chatgpt like tools. Like if before they get rank like 7k-8k or 9k-10k now they got ranks under 3k,2k or even under 500 rank. This clearly shows these ppl doing mass cheating in the contest. So directly blocks these accounts permanently without sending any warnings. This is the best way to reduce the mass cheating in the CF contest otherwise day by day genuine ppl quite this platform due to this.
Nah, there might be someone innocent or hardworking as well what if he unknowingly got block, we can't do this.
Exceptions always exist, that's why it's possible to appeal.
