I have been doing cp around a year. But I can't improve. I'm not a engineering/Computer Science student. So all the advice i found online tried to apply. But no results.Even bought course,no results. I'll be honest,I started cp because of job.Someone online gave me advice as i'm not from engineering background. To get a good job I need to be good at cp.To crack the online test and get my resume selected.I need good rating. But now I feel i should give up.I open a question to practice. Can't solve it read editorial and in contest. Can't solve anything. Part of me wants to quit, part of me wants to keep going. But i don't know how?I have read https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/91114 and https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/98806.But i don't improve.Recently someone gave me advice to switch to https://atcoder.jp/home. If there is anyone here who is kind enough to tell me how to practice and what to do how to select questions and what topics to learn(I'm aiming to be Expert)? Just comment your thoughts.I know most of the times blogs like this gets downvoted. But i had to write in my Dire hopelessness.I had to write this blog.I'm sorry.I hope all of you have a Good Day!

"To get a good job I need to be good at cp."

No you don't, and social media and LinkedIn and especially people from India have been brainwashed to believe this is the case. Why would a 3rd party platform that has no direction connections with companies be a deciding factor if you find a job or not? AI can get to purple even master nowadays. What makes you think a rating would matter?

You're mindset is completely misguided in the first place, and people like me and others participate on codeforces for the pure joy and accomplishment of solving problems.

If you have no enjoyment (which is pretty obvious) and this desperate I recommend you to just quit and focus on other things like building a real project. I don't get why everyone has to do competitive programming and be miserable doing it

Being desperate doesn't help you in any shape or form

very well said, people who do CP willingly should enjoy it cuz its a community and it is like a sport, if you dont like it then just prepare enough dsa from other sources to get a job, CP should not have any relation to jobs

Use ACDladder, It was the reason I became expert. Don't mind my rating now, it is low because I left practicing for like two months :( The blog talking about ACDladder website
