Hi Codeforces,
Tomorrow starting at 13.00 CEST we will hold a mirror of the Benelux Freshmen Programming Contests. It is an ICPC-style contest lasting $$$4$$$ hours.
The problemset was made in collaboration with alumni and students from Dutch universities, and was used as a Freshmen Programming Contest at some Dutch and Belgian universities. The problems are designed to be a gentle introduction to competitive programming while on the harder end still being a challenge for experienced participants. In terms of codeforces ratings it should be similar to division $$$3$$$, but with a slightly wider difficulty range (easier and harder problems).
You are free to make an account and compete on this website: https://fpcs2025.bapc.eu/public. You can compete in a team of at most $$$3$$$ people, as this was the original purpose of the contest.
Hope to see you on the scoreboard!

Is it intended to be done on one computer and one login? Or should each person from team register?
It is intended to register once on the website for a team. The original contests had the one computer rule, but for this mirror there's no such rule. If you want the true ICPC experience you can try it.
Reminder: contest starts in 14 minutes!
I remember seeing problems from contests with similar names on open.kattis.com, are these gonna be uploaded on that site, even if really late?
Is there an Editorial available?
We don't have editorials in full text as is usual for Codeforces contests, but we have uploaded the solution slides to the archive of CHipCie (the organizing committee in Delft): https://chipcie.wisv.ch/archive/fpc/ The archive also has a ZIP file that includes all jury submissions.
Thank you very much! Also thanks for the cool contest :-)
great contest i enjoyed it
Will the contest appear here as a gym?
We currently have no plans for this (if jeroenodb or somebody else feels like adding the contest as Gym, go ahead!), but https://fpcs2025.bapc.eu/ is still live :D
