Guidance for ZCO/INOI

I have decided to use CSES introductory problems understand every concept presented in them and then move onto codeforces 800 rated problems as the easiest are doable but the upper echelon of 800 rated problems are still difficult to figure on my own It has been 2 weeks since I have started competitive programming after tackling 800 I'm thinking to start CPH is the approach right? any guidance or correction in my approach would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks sir so much for your reply these advices are great but I'm just starting out now I want to participate in ZCO(december) and INOI(february) of this year I wanted to know if i could make it I'm really a beginner this advice and the doc is really nice when i get to 1000 or so but now I'm 394 was trying to ask CSES before cf would this help me tackle some of the harder concepts in 800 or beyond sir?
