The blog doesn't interest you if you're not mentioned so skip reading to save your time!
As you might've read in Mr.Pie's blog post, some users have got rating change despite them being Master ranked and unrated in Codeforces Round 1056 Div.2, these are:
Rising-coder -me, ivandasfs, saboten, konghaojie, GuilhermeCdM, yahia, CoderAbhi27, lyteabovenyte
Why did this happen ?
It appears all of us have registered to the round when we were Candidate-Master. That's still a bug of course because I did the same many times before but this didn't happen.
Why am I posting this blog ?
Well I tried contacting MikeMirzayanov, and the round coordinator errorgorn, and one of the authors efishel. But they all read and ignore. So yeah I'll just spam more!
Why do I even care ?
I've participated in 5 Rounds since getting to Master:
Codeforces Round 1056 (Div. 2) — Should've been unrated, my rating stays 2131 — got -160 change instead.
Educational Codeforces Round 183 (Rated for Div. 2) — Should've been unrated, my rating stays 2131 — got -80 change instead.
Codeforces Round 1057 (Div. 2) — Should've been unrated, my rating stays 2131 — got +50 change instead.
Codeforces Round 1058 (Div. 1) — Legit rated, My rating should be 2083 — It is actually 1936 instead.
Codeforces Round 1060 (Div. 2) — Legit rated dependeing on last (Div. 1) and I should fly to 2206 rating instead of me being 2113 now.
I'm going for International Master so it does matter if these changes were correct!
I appreciate it if someone related to preparing the round actually replies!
I absolutely have no doubts that this blog is very annoying and deserves to get downvoted, but I have to.

I can not believe that the problem has not yet been solved.
It definitely happened before with other people and it was fixed back then, so I'm rly hoping that they'll fix it for u guys soon
Thanks, man. See you in ACPC.
I was under the impression that this was a feature in codeforces: you are rated if you were in the correct range when you registered. But sometimes, at the last minute, the admins update the registration to reflect any recent rating changes. I don't know why they do/don't update it all the time, but I think it's about a $$$50/50$$$ shot.
Actually, somebody got the opposite feature in the past
Maybe try to tag the other authors ? JuanPabloAmezcua, IvanBorquez, MLA19, Marckess, Teto Please read the blog!
I must say, though your rating will almost surely not get adjusted, it is kind of crazy that not one of these people has replied to you. A simple "oh I can't help you with this, sorry" or something wouldn't be too hard, and would probably give you some closure.
Dude the authors can't fix your rating
They certainly can report what's happened to Codeforces!
That's not how it works
Ok then propose a way to fix it!
Maybe KAN could help?
They can't do anything, just wait for next rollback
Hope your rating will go back to normal soon :((
Wow we've got "master rated in div 2" before GTA 6 !
Please fix it and let him stop shouting
just give him some of my rate and make him stop XD
Day 'something' of Codeforces not fixing my rating.
maybe Vladosiya can help
Mike should reward you
you discovered a huge bug
codeforces is the bug xD
I feel you, even though I was not affected.
MikeMirzayanov KAN Vladosiya are one of you guys going to address this? it looks like it's been living rent-free in his head for the past month. at least just tell him to give it up and let him rest.
Thanks man!
errorgorn, KAN, Vladosiya, Hello, read the blog please!
Hello, we should fix it this week. Sorry, we usually handle this kind of thing before rollback happens, this time we didn't see it sadly.
Thank you very much!
well it looks like the moral of this story is that persistence sometimes does pay off. hats off to you Rising-coder.
Nothing was fixed :(
This worked too well you got a +delta in a Div. 2 round as a Master!
that's a new bug.
but he won't post a blog about it xD
I've had something similar happen recently as well, though with a different cause. After CF round 1046 (Div. 2) I had dropped to 1599 which made me eligible to participate in CF round 1047 (Div. 3). Then after that the ratings for both rounds were rolled back and after recalculation it turned out I should've been 1604 after round 1046 (hey those numbers are anagrams!) But the div3 was still considered rated for me. It would be cool to clarify at what moment your rating needs to be within the rating range for the contest to be rated. Whether that be registration time, contest time, or retroactive contest time (as in after any rating recalculations).
