Hello Codeforces! We are very happy to announce that, after months of preparation, we have finally scheduled our first online challenge from December 17th to December 24th! Sponsored by Huawei, we have prepared valuable prizes for everyone to compete for! Although many details are still to be finalized, we are too excited to share the following details with you as an early Christmas gift!

As always, the Universal Cup is dedicated to bridging the gap between the competitive programming community and the industry. This online challenge is an attempt that we are counting on. Since we hope everyone to focus on the challenge, there will be no regular stage on December 21st. The registration details will be announced in early December. We will be posting another blog (on Codeforces, the Official Website, and other threads) to specify the rules. Please stay tuned!

Can we participate with different team member from regular Ucup stage for this challenge?
Yes! Sure do! It will be an individual contest, and we will mark you with both your team name and your id!
Since this will be an individual contest, can we just register as an individual? The current registration form leads to a team registration page.
This registration is for UCup online training registration. All team accounts are associated with three individual accounts, which will be automatically registered in the challenge. We will soon release an announcement post clarifying this and providing a completely independent individual registration option.
Same doubt , is it necessary to make a team or can we participate individually?

In the contest site its showing 4th universal cup stage 8 ? how to participate will there be a seperate contest link on Dec 17th? this is my first time participating in UCup can anyone say how it works

Hi, I just went to the contest platform and saw another contest named "The 2025 UCup Online Challenge sponsored by Huawei System Test", which seems to be created for system tests. Is the scoreboard in that competition right now the final results of the competition?
