On the Croatian version of the rules page, it states that the last 4 problems are each worth the same number of points. Is this a mistake, or has the format changed?
It is a mistake made by the page writer. The last 3 problems are each worth the same number of points and are sorted in alphabetical order.
Can p3 be solved without blossom? I feel like blossom is a pretty direct reduction but maybe I’m missing something…
Can you share implementation? I tried to solve using blossom algo, but it gave me only 17 points.
There was this problem: https://kilonova.ro/problems/1840 at RMI 2023, which had blossom for the official solution. You can find the “committee’s implementation” at https://kilonova.ro/submissions/67356, but you might have to log in to be able to see it. Hope this helped!
Unfortunately, p3 cannot be solved without blossom(at least we think so). Even though the reduction was pretty direct, we have decided to include the task due to its algorithms difficulty. We also wanted to separate some Croatian contestants with its subtasks since p4 and p5 were a bit easier than usual and we expected a lot of full scores on them.
Where can I upsolve this contest?
