How are you so sure about this? He’s an ICPC regionalist and part of one of IIT Delhi’s top teams as well.

it aint that deep, just click on his profile bruhh.

He was disabled mid contest because of cheating.

Btw, even now top 2 Indians on leaderboard of yesterday's contest are very sus. One of them is clearly cheater, not so sure about tintin guy

he is also cheater, he solved first few tasks on his own, then he solved last few task with help of AI. Any experienced coder can look at profile submissions and can see red flags clearly. This people are so inexperienced/noob without AI , they cannot even logic check and code it on their own.

I will not put list of red flags, that i saw , because it helps me to determine, whether the guy is cheater or not. else people will stop doing those things.even one of the LGM have one copied submissions, in yesterday's contest.

But again, rating is irrelevant nowdays , enjoy problem solving, upsolving.

Are you talking about the tintin guy ?

If yes, then yeah i'm aware he's a cheater. I didn't say much because again he'll bring up his usual bullshit excuses such as he has dyslexia, he has performed well in offline contests etc. but he never addresses why so many of his previous contests were skipped. what i am referring to

Also, in latest contest his code of Problem D is awfully similar to hitman_py previously known as Acr0bat who's a well know cheater [Somesh Raj from haldia institute of technology]

i mean i have been looking into him for some time now, ever since edu roun 185,and even before that. recently i talked to someone who wrote a blog about him and then later deleted it becuase they had the wrong info(confused c2 with D),and i had proposed a joint discussion discussion for a blog to gather proof and expose him even they after sometime said that they didnt think so, and due to the skipped contests i also thought he was still cheating. but after actually looking into his code, throughly if i might add and it is pretty consistent across the board, there are contests where he has'nt done B in a div2 or sometimes not being able to do C(he could have used ai there), apart from that offline perf is pretty solid, especially in pen paper maths rounds. and i don't think cheaters pracrtice regularly or ask for help on reddit for questions and discuss questions they have solved. but that being said he was definetly cheating before, plus he himself said that rating does'nt matter anymore so given all this i really don't think he is cheating anymore. And after looking into his linkedin aswell i do not think other smart people are easily fooled by cheaters, and he has recieved a solid thanks for his mentorship and even on the reddit post there are people who know him personally defending him. putting all this together i dont think he cheats, not anymore atleast. Also D was a constructin question many people are bound to have similar logic and approach as there are not many ways to order the steps in a construction question

He was a damn cheater in Quantfest btw. I heard that the Quantfest committee just didn’t have proof to disqualify him. I think he may have used remote access things.

It's normal to have the same approach in competitive programming. I think The problem is such that there's no option other than greedy nd sorting. Similar logic isn't lead to plag. It would be a problem if the code structure were the same. I saw his profile and noticed that he uses two programming languages, but we cannot judge someone based on that alone. I also observed that he mostly solves 1900+ rated problems, and I don’t see anything unusual or suspicious in his profile....

He might have used AI in the contest, but he is a very smart guy, and that is definitely not something he does in every contest. His level of problem solving and coding was definitely that of an IM (I know him personally; he has aced almost every coding competition organised by the programming club at IIT Delhi, as well as proctored intern tests)

so being intelligent grants you pass for cheating ? we should not expose them ?

So someday , let's say rank 2 on codeforces , uses AI to get little advantage over rank 1, should it be allowed , in the end he is just taking a glimpse, which will point him towards the exact approach. obviously he is intelligent too.

Not at all. That is the reason why he got banned. However, claiming the fact that he has just used AI to reach the level of an IM is incorrect. If someone has used AI, then the person should be exposed, but commenting on the level of intelligence/coding based on that experience is baseless.

Firstly, being smart does not mean he is not cheating. And I don't think you are experienced enough to judge his profile. In general, people with ratings of 1800-1900 appear to be at the Master level to Newbies and Specialists. That said, proctored intern tests are a myth; people are smart enough to figure out ways to cheat in those too. Also, landing a good internship doesn't mean you are 'god-level' smart. Interviews are generally much easier than the screening tests, and people often use unfair means just to clear those tests. People nowadays are not able to digest the fact that JEE Advanced toppers also need practice to reach higher levels; they just assume that being a topper guarantees reaching Master level after only a few contests.

Let me state something: being from IIT Delhi doesn't prove anything.

People even cheat on the JEE and get ranks under 100. Take S_h*l So#d, for example—you can look him up. He went from a rank of 70,000 in the Mains to 36 in the Advanced in just two months, despite being a repeater who was already in his first year of college. How did he do that? Did he copy from the top rankers, or was it something else? Clearly, if it weren't for COVID, he wouldn't have gotten away with even earning the degree. He couldn’t solve basic integration or simple mechanics problems. I was shocked when I saw him. Other rankers under 100 were super sharp in math and science, but this guy was only good at sports and completely lost in anything academic.

I guess India is a major hub for cheaters.

I don’t think it’s fair to immediately assume cheating. JEE has strong security systems and jammers, and large-scale cheating isn’t easy to pull off. Also, just because something seems impossible for some people doesn’t mean it’s impossible in general.

A jump from a ~70k rank in JEE Mains to a top 100 rank in JEE Advanced is rare, but not impossible. Mains and Advanced test very different skills — Mains often rewards speed, accuracy, and NCERT-based recall, while Advanced focuses more on conceptual depth and problem-solving ability.

It’s completely plausible that someone could underperform in Mains due to pressure, a bad day, mistakes, or not recalling NCERT facts well, and then perform exceptionally in Advanced where their strengths actually matter.

Dude, in JEE adv, it's impossible to get a rank < 1000 with guessing and this guy literally is dumb, so dumb, one of the dumbest guy in the whole batch who would suffer even solving 10th grade maths puzzles, neither good in chemistry or physics and is just living with a pretigious tag.
