Dear all,
We invite members of the programming contests community to submit tasks for the 4th edition of the Western European Olympiad in Informatics (WEOI), to be held in Luxembourg on 26th-28th June 2026. Tasks should be similar in style to IOI tasks. For an idea of previous style and difficulty, you can find tasks from previous editions at https://weoi.org/weoi-2024/ and https://weoi.org/weoi-2025/. Authors of selected tasks will be credited in the official solutions and on the WEOI website.
Please send submissions to tasks@weoi.org by 15th March 2026; we welcome submission of task ideas that may not be polished or in final form. Unused submissions will be returned to task authors and will remain confidential to the Scientific Committee.
On behalf of the WEOI SC,
Daniel Murphy and Erekle Roinishvili

Are the authors invited to the olympiad?
Depending on the number of in-person contestants, we will consider this possibility. We will confirm this with the authors once sign-ups are completed.
Is there any minimum age for those eligible to submit problems? Certain other olympiads do not allow <18 (specifically high school students) to submit tasks. Is that the case here too? Thanks in advance.
There is no age limit for authors. However, we won't accept tasks from authors who would be eligible to participate as a contestant, or if they personally know an eligible participant.
Thanks for the response.
Bumping since there is only 1 month until the deadline!
Bumping again since the deadline is on Sunday :)
