- Hello Codeforces. I am Newbie at codeforces as you can see, I did not practise a lot, becasue of my other studies at school. But now I want to take my preparations seriously. I know C++, and Python (my knowledge is decent though).
- About me: I love MATH (not super got at it though), basically that's it. :]
- I have one question: Is it possible to reach IOI level in a year by practicing 10-12 hours a day consistently? Thanks in advance.

It depends, there are people who reached LGM at 14-15, and others like me still struggling at Expert having practiced some years :(. Of course consistency means a lot, but sometimes talent plays a big role. I'm gonna tell you my experience, I started cp in late 2023, but it was only for school. It wasn't until 2024 I really started it, I participated in our national team selection process and lukily I got a spot for IOI 2024 (sadly I was not able to travel due to economic issues). As IOI 2025 was going to held in my country, our team leader trained us harder, I think I practiced 5-8 hours a day, and whole day during vacation. lukily there was a spot for me to be team 1 for IOI 2025 (I have to admit that the level of our country is low comparing to others). Although I got the best ranking and score at IOI in the history of my country, it was still far (well just some step behind, I believe we can break the record of our country this year) from reaching even a bronze medal. That is from the view of our country.
Alright, thanks.
