Hello Codeforces!
We are really excited to invite you to participate in Codeforces Round 1089 (Div. 2), which will be held on Mar/29/2026 17:35 (Moscow time).
You will be given $$$6$$$ "simple" problems and $$$2$$$ hour $$$15$$$ minutes to solve them. Note that one of the problems will be further divided into $$$2$$$ subtasks. Furthermore, some of the problems may be interactive, so please read the guide for interactive problems if you are not familiar with them. This round will be rated for the participants with rating lower than 2100.

I don't think the !(cin >> n) is genuine. Please be honest. You are doing competitive programming, why do you have to check whether the input exists?
I think It more suggest that a human wrote that code — LLMs, generating code similar to a statistical cp code don't write like that, but there exist humans, that write like that because for ex. they might write (or have written in the past) programs that do care if there is input and they write is like that, because there used to that. Another thing is that it's not compleatly useless (for example it helps you relise if this problem doesn't have multiple test cases (which doesn't happen often, so it's something you might miss or forget to remove the

First, I bet you'll see a test case with missing n quickly. Of course maybe some contest with ICPC format has it, but I don't think it's regular.
Second, why use the !(cin >> n)? If you are reading multiple strings or numbers, use while(cin >> n). If you are reading multiple lines, use while(getline(cin, s)). Checking the input in competitive programming is useless, ridiculous, and makes you look like AI (if not it is AI for real).

Think, whats the smallest you can make a[i] be equal to? Whatever value you chosse, the gcd(a[i],a[i-1]) before and after must be same, lly for gcd(a[i],a[i+1]).
a[i]=lcm(gcd(a[i],a[i+1]),gcd(a[i],a[i-1])). This is the minimum a[i] can be, if a[i]!=lcm(gcd(a[i],a[i+1]),gcd(a[i],a[i-1])) then you can change a[i]
the minimum number that you can convert $$$a_i$$$ to is the $$$lcm$$$ of the $$$gcd$$$ of $$$a_i$$$ with its neighbors, so check whether it is less than $$$b_i$$$ or no
let $$$x$$$ be the minimum number you can convert $$$a_i$$$ to, then:
you can change $$$a_i$$$ iff $$$x \lt a_i$$$
What i did is to only check that the gcd condition applies for adjacent elements (intervals of size 2 or 3).
I changed each a[i] to the lcm(g1,g2); g1=gcd(a[i],a[i-1]), g2=gcd(a[i],a[i+1]) whenever this was possible since that is the least that must remain in order to keep the gcd condition.

The problem is interesting, I like these problems, but I don’t like them in a div2 contest, its too hard for div2
So many cheaters on C1
In this contest and the last one, I just don't understand why are you guys making the score of C2 lower than C1, since you still have to do a ton of things to solve it even if you solve C1 already, and it's far more difficult than C1 and has similar number of AC to D (in last one, C2 is basically a completely diffierent problem from C1).
I can see that the total score of C1 + C2 is the same as D. So I believe the problem itself may also have similar difficulty to D. But the harder part of C obviously doesn't lie in the first subtask. I think such score setting is unfair for those spending a lot of time solving C2 instead of just skipping it and going to D.
C2 score is usually C2+C1 so C2 is worth "2250" points while C1 is 1250.
Doesn't make any sense. Individual scoring for C2 is very low compared to C1 whereas the quality of the problem is as good as, if not better than, D. If you wanna make C2 then make it in a way that uses similar logic + code from C1, not completely different from C1. It wastes time and considerable effort.
Usually such a distribution of score is reasonable when the base solution of both versions stay the same and perhaps you have to do some kind of optimization on the easier version, etc. But in this case, C2 is a fresh problem and that too difficult with minimal relation to C1. So, its like solving a new difficult problem with minimal benefit on solving the easier version.

Yeah I got the solution for b by practically going through the problem . If i am at chair j and a[j] has a number grater than j then leaving chair j has no harm . I mean i can sit on a[j]th chair and leave jth chair or i can sit on jth chair and leave a[j]th and all later chairs . The first option is clearly better

Allocating so low points for C2 is insanely unfair. C2 got less AC's than D. How does C1 have more points than C2?

I would like to clearly state that I did not use any AI assistance, did not copy code from any external source, and all my submissions were written entirely by myself. I failed to see the final tweak of lcm(gcd(a[i-1], a[i]), gcd(a[i], a[i+1])) for C1 :((. But c'est la vie, cool round as always >:)
One curious thing I found is that the same code differs a lot in performance when using
gcdvs__gcd:__gcd: 4.2 seconds 368772195gcd: 1.8 seconds 368774850I remembered about a blog which mentions that the opposite should happen: it claims that
__gcdshould be faster thangcd, but in here I'm facing the opposite scenario.I guess that C++ has very unstable behavior when it comes to these functions :(

I received a plagiarism warning for problem 2210C1. Because of this, all my submissions, including problems A and B, were skipped. I want to clarify my situation.
I solved all the problems on my own during the contest. I did not copy code from any participant or outside source, nor did I share my code with anyone or use any public platform.
For problem 2210C1, I focused on preserving the gcd of all subarrays. Instead of checking all subarrays explicitly, which would be inefficient, I noticed that it is enough to consider only adjacent pairs.
I defined an array g where g[i] = gcd(a[i], a[i+1]). Each element a[i] contributes to both the left segment (i-1, i) and the right segment (i, i+1). Any new value a[i]' must match both gcd values.
From this, I figured that the required value should be a multiple of both g[i-1] and g[i]. This led me to take their lcm, with proper handling for boundary indices.
This reasoning comes directly from the problem's constraints, and I implemented it on my own during the contest.
I understand that the implementation might look similar to others since this approach creates a common pattern. However, I want to emphasize that I did not copy or share code in any way.

I don't know how my solution is matching with the other's solution provided, there is no match. I also want to clear that, this solution which I submitted for this problem in C is just because my C++ code was giving TLE, but i knew that it is just some little optimisation which can get my solution acccepted that's why i tried C language code, but it gave TLE too. Hello Codeforces administrator, I received a private message about this contest stating that my submission 368714164 for 2210D is highly similar to some other participants' code. I looked at the other codes mentioned in the message and I acknowledge this judgement of high similarity. From the perspective of the code itself, the submissions are almost identical (perhaps only the coding style differs slightly), so I cannot find a rigorous reason to dispute this conclusion. However, I did solve the problem independently, so seeing this result makes me quite uncomfortable, and I want to provide feedback: I solved this problem on my own! This problem involves converting an RBS into a tree structure (obviously? does it feel like practising a few more RBS-related problems will definitely help you learn?), and then counting the number of '()' (i.e., the number of leaf nodes in the tree) and checking whether the counts of matching '(' and ')' on both sides of the string are exactly equal. Clearly, counting '()' can be done with a single loop, while checking the matching '(' and ')' on both sides can be done using a stack with O(n) complexity for bracket matching, and then a two-pointer approach from both ends can be used to calculate the count straightforwardly. The core code is very simple and classic, achievable in less than 50 lines, so is the possibility of high similarity also natural? I am not writing this to overturn the judgement of high similarity, because I truly do not have a rigorous reason to challenge it (the codes are indeed almost identical), I am just uncomfortable and venting a bit (of course, I would be happy if the judgement could be overturned). Finally, my English is not very good; if anything is written imprecisely or offensively, I apologise.

I want to clarify that my solution was developed independently. My approach evolved after multiple iterations. Firstly, I tried more direct constructions and brute-force transitions, but they led to TLE due to large state exploration and repeated gcd computations. Then I tried to analyze gcd relationships between adjacent elements and derive a base value for each position that satisfies these constraints. After normalizing the array using this base, the problem became simpler to handle. My initial solutions led to TLE, so I optimized by drastically reducing the candidate space. For each index, I filtered out invalid prime factors from neighbors and constructed a small set of valid candidates instead of checking all possibilities. Using precomputed primes for fast factorization further improved efficiency, making the DP feasible. Earlier submissions gave TLEs. This optimized version was built step-by-step to address those bottlenecks. So any resemblance with other solutions likely comes from common use of number theory + DP ideas, not from copying. My account hasn’t been disabled but all of my solutions were skipped and there might be penalties. Kindly revert this decision.

I tried the different patterns in test cases , First I only go with gcd, but then I tried with LCM. But after that I got the problem at starting and ending position so I simply written the gcd condition for starting and ending and LCM of gcd for the other terms , then compare the current element . Also I am not shared my code to any one, i future I will try to write the code in different way so that the same issue will not be happen again

Hey simplelife, ritam1234, __baozii__ I recently recieved this warning for problem C2 and it increases my concern regarding submitting live in contest, Since this is a nature of CP, that many could lead to a same approach. I can clarify approach that this was extension of C1 by not restricting range of changeable sequences. Also this means we need to observe more closely by storing previous results for max. Change which can happen. The case of LCM((ai-1, ai), (ai+1,ai)) becomes equal to the number ai itself — so we check all prime divisors within comfortable range of exclusives for any two worst case numbers formed by near about first 9 primes (<InT_Max) so I traversed through till primes <80 giving me unique worst case possibilities of one more prime than first 18 primes -> i.e. first 19 primes... And the rest is simple dp state and its definition ! However every question of contest was skipped, without them giving such A warning!!! Nothing actually to my account Yet but it must have increased plagiarism penalty for my account which can lead to disastrous situation to me, I request the author and the admins to revert the changes .
