I want to clarify that my submission 367670051 for Codeforces Round 1087 (Div. 2), Problem D — Ghostfires (2209D), was written independently by me. I did not communicate with any participant, and I did not copy code from any user.
The warning mentions a similarity with submission 367635666. I want to state clearly that I did not exchange code with that user or with anyone else.
During the contest, the only external tool I used was OnlineGDB to run and test my code. I did not click the Share button, I did not generate a public link, and I did not intentionally publish my code anywhere. Nor used any code sharing platforms to use others code as my own.
I also noticed that my submissions were marked as skipped while submission 367635666 was not. I understand that public verdict patterns do not necessarily reveal the internal reasoning of the plagiarism review, so I am not drawing conclusions from that alone. I am only requesting that my case be reviewed based on the facts of how I worked during the contest.
I also want to add that reaching my current level on Codeforces took me real time and effort across many contests. My progress matters a lot to me, which is exactly why I would not risk it by copying or sharing code.
I am posting this only to state the facts of how I worked during the contest. If needed, I can provide more details about my workflow.

anyway, does someone seriously use OnlineGDB for competing on codeforces?

Being a cheater is something, but getting caught with such an obvious proof and still denying it is a Patrick level stupidity
Also why is not https://mirror.codeforces.com/contest/2209/submission/367635666 skipped as well?
I use a 2017 Macbook Air, which I have messed it up a lot of times, currently into ML theory and analysis my work I do not want to install another compiler as well.
And it's not just onlinegdb, if that's down I will use any online compiler do that I don't have to install any new packages, there are times I tested my code on kaggle.
I am not new to programming, I have over 200(medium and hard) problems solved in leetcode (like I started around 2021) till date. I understand you saying that I am a cheater, but I didn't do it. I came to this platform to test my own skills, it's not like I will reach legendary rating and all, because I know my limit is around 1600 or 1800 at max if I practice more.
I know how similar that looks, I wish codeforces recorded my screen activity to show that I didn't. But it doesn't. And not to be patrick, I don't even know the other user you have mentioned. My rating now is around 1100, saying that I violated the rules. Just saying my side of story

I really wish I can believe you, unless you accidentally made you code public or copied it from somewhere else there is no way someone else might write a code that close, additionally for now you didn't provide any proof for your innocence, for example you said you solved over 200 medium/hard problems on Leetcode, but you didn't provide any link that can prove you did, I tried finding the user with your same handle and it has 0 solved problems....
But since you still want to deny this, can you tell me how did all those people submit a code very close to yours?
And why are you skipped but some of them aren't? (Including the one you got skipped because your submission matched)
Boss!!have some empathy . May be you are not yet at the skill level to judge other users. And by the way he has addressed this blog to CF admin and definitely not to seek your validation , just chill. Enjoy this beautiful platform , make some good memories and be nice to ppl . CF does make mistakes / false plags are more common than you can imagine .
I wish I had an answer dude. But I don't, regardless what I say in this, I sound like liar or patrick according to you. And coming to why mine is skipped and none of the others got skipped, I don't know. I also don't know why all my submission are skipped (even the ones I got wrong for other questions). Like all my submission is copied according to CF? If I do copy all submission why would I stop at 4/D I might have well did till 6/F questions right? I wish I could prove my innocence by saying look how different my other "failed/accepted" code is for all the other questions. I don't know about these things, as it's very first time to me get "plagiarism", and how exactly do I prove my innocence. Some of the submissions you have attached have submitted their code after mine in w.r.t submission time.
It's in practice mode, it doesn't even matter, your rating is fine. And even if it wasn't, rating is not like money, you will get back to your "proper" rating reasonably quickly.
I know you are right , this contest is marred with false plags.

Hello ! You are right that I didn’t participate in this contest . I know someone who did . His contest was skipped . I have concrete proof that he did not cheat and false plag happens , it’s almost impossible to avoid false plags however robust the system is . What better can be done is - 1. Improve the validation process , have the identity verified.

Read earlier blogs , you will see predominantly they were about knowledge sharing or playful banters . Now it’s all about low rated vigilante — bullying , commenting on cheaters and cheating .
