The International Advanced Tournament in Informatics (IATI) has recently concluded. This prestigious competition, held in Shumen, continues to be one of the most challenging events for young competitive programmers globally.
We are proud to share the performance of the Azerbaijani delegation, which secured several medals across both divisions. Senior Division
Our Senior participants faced a tough set of problems, with Hasan Valiyev delivering a standout performance to secure a Gold medal.
Hasan Valiyev (Azerbaijan Team 1) performed exceptionally well, scoring 181.48 on Day 1 and 123.00 on Day 2. With a total score of 304.48, he secured a Gold Medal (Rank 24).
Ahmad Gambarli (Azerbaijan Team 2) showed great effort, earning 109.10 on Day 1 and 58.00 on Day 2. His total score of 167.10 earned him a Bronze Medal (Rank 86). Junior Division
In the Junior category, our students showed great consistency, with both Tunjay and Vagif earning well-deserved Silver medals.
Tunjay Pashayev (Azerbaijan Team 3) demonstrated strong consistency, scoring 135.00 on Day 1 and 83.00 on Day 2. He finished with a total of 218.00 points, winning a Silver Medal (Rank 21).
Vagif Abdullayev (Azerbaijan Team 3) had a solid performance, with 103.00 on Day 1 and 107.00 on Day 2. His total score of 210.00 secured him a Silver Medal (Rank 24).
Quick Analysis
The problems this year required a deep understanding of advanced algorithms and strong implementation skills. It is great to see the Azerbaijani team maintaining a high standard at international tournaments.
