How about 16?(EvenImage, PrinceOfPersia, M.Mahdi, LiTi and aliasadiiii before the last round) :D

OK seems like there are a lot of young red programmers. But what about the oldest red programmer in codeforces!? Are there any reds here over 40 years old!?

    bmerry should be around 35, as he participated in IOI'96.

    Edit: Oh, but he also participated in 2001, so he is more like 32 or so :)

This compares with an ELO chess? I think so you can compare. Then tourist = 3407, Carlsen = 2876, the programming is going ahead.

So we already concluded from this subject that becoming red in primary school is no problem. What about youngest international grandmaster?

I do not know exact their exact birth dates (nor even approximate in most cases), but I guess few good examples of young IGMs are here: tourist (surprisingly :P), yeputons, EvenImage, YuukaKazami, scott_wu, PavelKunyavskiy, jcvb, Alex_2oo8. Can someone tell how old were they when they became IGMs?

it is not about age, it is about circumstances, I was trying to understand programming at high and prep school but my dad was punishing me by destructing my PC I was so sad, right now I am trying to get back to my passion, but I am upset, I have no good community at university to direct me to the right way in competitive programming, I will do it, Good Luck for all GMs
