When I was submitting the problem D in round #371, I clicked the "Choose File" button and selected my code.
Before the submission, I read my code another time, found a bug in my code and fixed it. And then I clicked the "submit" button.
But it turned out that my solution got wrong answer on pretest 4. I stress-tested my solution, and found it passed the big random data. I was really shocked. umm... Maybe my solution failed on some small testcases. So I tried many ways to generate testcases. But my solution was right on all the testcases I generated.
After struggling for about 40mins, I gave up and submitted it again. It passed all the pretests.
I compared two codes, and just found I submitted the old version (before fixing the bug) at first time.
After asking my roommate, he said when you clicked the "Choose File" button, it would upload the file instead of recording the path.
In the rest time of the contest, I tried to solve problem B and E but failed.
I think I should quit from algorithm contest like YuukaKazami and study harder.

bao li mo ha bu ke qu!!! attention please!
As a Chinese,I think you better not use leader's photo as your head portrait! You can use your personal photo as your head portrait like tourist, or ues anime photo like YuukaKazami!!It's my personal view!!

"quit from algorithm contest like WJMZBMR"
Aren't you going to participate in ACM ICPC 2017 together?
It's time for my teammates to carry me.
I guess the mistake u made today, it actually isn't related to algorithmic contests at all. Maybe all you should do is be more careful. Lol
I believe, that depends on browser. In Chrome-based browsers I'm 100% it is not true (because I do such thing sometimes and it never failed me). What browser are you using?
Chrome... I think I also do such thing many times, and I thought the code I submitted is the new version definitely.
Maybe the problem was that you didn't actually save the new version of the code before submitting (i. e. it was only present in your editor buffer)?
Nobody cares .
seems everybody cares
I remember that my teammates laughed at me on some acm-icpc training for rechoosing a file after changing code. After two years, it's so good to know that I was right to be careful.
And btw. it's always sad to mess a contest not because of problem-related reasons.
EDIT: I hope Zlobober isn't right in comments above...
Oops, it seems Zlobober is right. Maybe I just forgot to save my code.
I'm going back to my cave of shame.
jqdai0815 Compiling and running tests pretty much means that you did save your code.
Errichto Stay strong!

Isn't learning algorithms some sort of studying?
Maybe you need a better sleep.
better sleep? It's jqdai0815.
Would this blog have got upvotes if the author was some Div2 guy ?
I mess up in contests too , should i cry and write about it everytime ?
Messi missing an open goal and me missing an open goal has big difference. Isn't it?
As far as I remember some high rated user(might be YuukaKazami) did not advance in Facebook hacker cup round because he submitted the solution of previous round. It's always good to know the type of mistake best sport programmers do.
In fact that's a bit different situation. jqdai0815 told a case that raised a possibility of system being flawed. It turned out it was his simple mistake, but if it had turned out CF is flawed here it would have been useful to community. If that cheers you up, I also often complain about my stupid mistakes and I don't get upvotes for that kind of posts ^.^
I don't believe that Swistakk doesn't get upvotes for everything he posts :P
My last comment in that style: http://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/47030#comment-314160
0 upvotes for that moment. Of course I am not saying it deserves any :p.
Upvote for the quick response :P
Writing a comment about wasting 40 mins on a problem and writing a blog are two different things.
You are a serial poster of your views :) whereas jqdai0815 generally does not express his opinions. If you post once in blue moon about your bad experience then you'll get enough upvotes too.
Having said that I think only three people in this community can get these many upvotes for a blog like this.
Who said the world was fair?
But then again, he earned it. The importance to say something which everybody listens.
Try Xcode, it saves automatically every time:)

If so, ACM ICPC 2017 would lose the strongest competitor.
Today's contest just confirms that.
of course quit it! there are so many better things than giving contests! :D
The same happened to itu during the ACM Regional Contest in Latin America. When we realized what happened, we started to laugh. At the end, we didn't classify to the WF because of our penalty time and it was not time to laugh :(
Just a small blog before today's storm :)
I think it was just TooSimple.
