How long usually do you think on a problem before giving up and looking at editorial?

For me, it's usually around 1 hour to 4 hours. Sometimes a whole day as well if I feel it's a problem that I must be able to solve, but for some reason can't :p

Oh, it's hard. I think it's about 15-30 minutes from the time I got a new idea. But I never read whole editorial. I just find first new idea and continue thinking myself.

Usually 1 to 3 hs , but some problems in GYM that I feel it will help in many things I attempt from 1 hour to 2 or 3 days , if I didn't get the solution I leave it to try later or ask for help
