Hey everyone!

We are pleased to announce the 5th Moscow Competitive Programming Festival “MosCode Festival” will be held from March 31 to April 1, 2018. Participation in the event is completely free and the difficulty of problems is comparable with ACM ICPC finals!

MosCode Festival schedule:

February 11 — Qualifying contest (mandatory for the team contest participants*)

March 31 — Personal contest

April 1 — Team contest

We are inviting all of you to join us in Technopark “Skolkovo” for two days contests! Here you can learn more about the festival and find information about how to get to the event location.

Mind the fact that registration is mandatory and every participant must have a personal laptop.

*If you are a participant of the Moscow Pre-Finals ACM ICPC Workshop 2018 you don't have to participate in the qualifying contest.

Will there be an online mirror here or somewhere? It will be great if yes!

Could you provide more details in the blogpost? It's pretty annoying to have to look for information regarding the participation on the site and in this particular case it's even worse because the site is made in such a way that I, for one, cannot understand much. For example, where will the online qualification rounds be hosted? When clicking on the personal contest link in the description of the main page it takes me to a seemingly unrelated place and I still couldn't figure out what a personal contest is. Could someone who spent more time to better understand the rules and how the contest will take place make a summary of the relevant information? I guess there is no chance for me to compete in the finals, but it'd still be nice to know more about the online rounds

What do you mean by "free"? Are flights and staying cost covered?

For the duration of the MosCode Festival participants from other cities will be accommodated at one of MIPT dormitories on campus (Dolgoprudny). Participants can book a hotel next to the Technopark "Skolkovo" at their own expense.

About flights — I'm almost sure that they're not covered.

It is just local Russian contest, I don't know why there is info in English.

It seems that the problem set is same as the last (yesterday) OpenCup. Is there an editorial? I'd like to know how to solve C,E, and J.
