Cheaters on hackerearth are quite original:)
Someone (https://www.hackerearth.com/@ivan185) wrote me, claiming he is problemsetter (argumenting that his name is same as isaf27) and he is going to disqualify me, because "your code is similar to other codes, so please send us the code so we can check manually". I don't know how to contact hackerearth admins regarding this, that's why I am writing here. Please, remove this fake account, because someone may really believe him and send solution.
Happened with me as well. I told him that he would have the access to my code if he really was a problem setter.
Thanks. Some people asked me in messages about this, so I think that he/she wrote for many people. Please, don't answer those requests!
Blatant cheating going on in this contest. Just read the comments on any problem, people seem to have a "let's solve problems together" approach.
It's probably not your fault(problem setters) but, hackerearth just sucks so bad. Got no other words for it.
First of all, the tip below the problem says: "You can submit any number of times", and now that i have submitted 300 times, it says: "Maximum submission limit reached", that's the dumbest thing i have seen. I tried contacting hackerearth but some guy just says, i have forwarded your message to some team blah blah blah, and you don't get anything more from them after.
The instructions say it's 300 per day, so you should be able to submit more tomorrow.
There are many things wrong with this challenge problem and hackerearth in general, but this isn't one of them. Everyone has the same limit. If you were able to submit more, others would too.
I'm also quite happy about the limit and I wish it was even lower, the only fault I see is that it isn't mentioned in the statement.
Its 100% not 300 per day. I have just 300 submit, the latest of which is 5 days ago. I would be totally fine with 300 per day, i wouldn't have even reached it, but 300 in total is not a lot.
It's just stupid that they put a hint saying you can submit any number of times when that's not true
EDIT: I'm suddenly able to submit now again. Someone probably fixed it (thanks to whoever did), but i'm 100% positive that i was not able to submit earlier today.
Instructions page:
If it's not like that, it's even bigger issue than you reported initially.
In the lower quality contests, reporting on codeforces is faster than reporting via original site :D
If thats the case,@hackerearth I have not received my feb easy gift card. Any idea how much longer it'll take?
Post a blog about it.
Can someone explain how to solve Diameter problem https://www.hackerearth.com/problem/algorithm/diameter-aac958d6/description/ ?
you can see the editorial of F.Leaf Sets. The problem is very similar to Diameter Problem
