Hi codeforces. Is there anyone know why the past contests are all in progress? Is there any way that I can upsolve the problems? Thanks in advance.

I think it is because your account was created after the contest ended. In a new contest, all old accounts get automatic access. So, maybe new accounts don't get access to previous contests. You can check, after a certain contest you have access to all new contests.
One of my friend got into an old team and has access to very old contests, while I have a relatively new account and have access to newer contests.

    "new accounts don't get access to previous contests" why would this happen... this is a pretty dumb setting.
