Finding out that a director of a small local contest is corrupt is one thing, but watching a corrupt man succeeding in being one of the high board committee of the ICPC (The most prestigious programming competition in the world) is on the other hand very alerting, and should not be tolerated!
You guessed it, I am talking about the infamous Mohamed Fouad, the current ICPC Director of Logistical Operations and the ACPC director. You can find him here in people of ICPC page in the official ICPC website.
Mohamed fouad has been the director of the ACPC for 8 years now, and with every ACPC contest, many blogs are written complaining about the corruption there. So, I decided to write this blog to archive all of these complaints.
COMPLAINTS
2016
2017
2018
- ACM — AKA "Arabic Cash Machine"
- The Arab Collegiate Programming Contest requires teams to pay $1500 to $3000. Why does the ACM ICPC allow ACPC to charge students such a ridiculous amount?
2019
- All we want for Christmas is Visa. [ACPC 2019]
- ACPC committee (The Greatest thieves to ever exist in the competitive programming world)
- Racism in ICPC
FUNDING CAMPAIGNS
With the ridiculous amounts of money requested by Mohamed Fouad, some students were left with no choice but to set up funding campaigns to be able to participate, here are some of them
2017
2018
These are the ones that I got by searching on google, if you have more blogs please leave a comment and I will update the archive.

And this person was on the stage today in the closing ceremony. :'(
He is annoying af
I agree
His attempts to pump up the crowd with "Are you ready?" at the ICPC closing ceremony this year were completely out of topic. To be honest there was quite a lot of unnecessary clownery at this closing ceremony even without his help.
This happens every year on all ICPC ceremonies, IIRC. In 2013 (or 2014?) Bill Poucher tried to make the crowd learn how to say "Welcome" in Russian by mispronouncing it as "Dobro Pozhalovich" instead of "Dobro Pozhalovat".
