Will IOI 2020 be cancelled because of coronavirus? There have been a total of 110 cases in Singapore

The problem isn't with Singapore as much as it is with the international outbreak. If IOI 2020 was to be held this Friday, yes, it will be affected, not cancelled tho.

However, there are four months till IOI 2020. Anything could happen in that period. Follow the news and the official IOI 2020 Facebook page to keep yourself updated.

Hopefully not. I don't want to be unable to participate in 2/3 of my IOIs because of stupid reasons.

IOI was cancelled (will be held online). FML, this doesn't seem acceptable to me. The corona virus situation is getting better by the day. I really believe this situation is begin massively overhyped by the media!! Singapore's number of active cases has been decreasing steadily, as has the number of active cases in almost all countries except Latin America. Moreover, the participants of IOI are mostly young people thus less susceptible to the virus. What is your opinion? Do you think IMO will be cancelled too? Do you think online IOI will remain fair?
