About Grakn Labs
Grakn Labs is a team of people driven by a purpose: to solve the world's most complex problems, through knowledge engineering. We are the inventors of the Grakn knowledge graph and the Graql query language. Our technology helps organizations in various industries, including Life Sciences, Defence & Security, Financial Services, and Robotics, to build intelligent systems that will change the world. From financial analytics to drug discovery, cyber threat detection to robotics disaster recovery, our technology empowers engineers around the world to tackle a higher order of complexity in knowledge and solve the world's most complex problems.
Based in London, UK, and founded in 2016, Grakn Labs is a team of people driven by a purpose: to solve the world's most complex problems, through knowledge engineering. In 2017, we were awarded Product of the Year by the University of Cambridge. After only a few years, our pioneering community has grown to 6K+ engineers, spread across 10+ countries around the globe -- and we're still growing. To continue pursuing this vision, we need to build a team of individuals who are not just the best and brightest in what they do, but also driven by a strong sense of purpose and compassion for the world.
What is Grakn and Graql?
Grakn is a distributed knowledge graph: a logical database to organize large and complex networks of data as one body of knowledge. Grakn provides knowledge engineering tools for developers to easily leverage the power of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning when building complex systems. Ultimately, Grakn serves as the knowledge-base foundation for cognitive and intelligent systems.
Graql is Grakn's query language. It provides an expressive knowledge schema language through an enhanced entity-relationship model, transactional queries that perform deductive reasoning in real-time, and analytical queries with native distributed Pregel and MapReduce algorithms. Graql provides a strong abstraction over low-level data constructs and complex relationships.
Graql is distributed as an open-source technology, while Grakn comes in two forms: Grakn Core — which is also open-source, and Grakn KGMS — our enterprise Knowledge Graph Management Service, available through Google Cloud and Amazon AWS.
What is the rationale to host a seemingly important contest on weekday rather than weekend?
I agree with this and would like to extend it to codeforces rounds in general.
Bruh there's usually more than 1 div2 contest per week I don't want to see complaints from div2 people.
I am grateful that Div 2 contests are held frequently, my point is simply that weekends might be a more convenient time to accommodate as many people around the world as possible. I think it is fantastic that there have recently been 2-3 contests per week, but I am only able to participate in 1 or 0 because I do not have blocks of time during the weekdays.
Some people are more busy on weekends?
In China, students have classes on Sunday due to the National Day holidays
So, nobody will reply to that?
So,this is the Codeforces Round X.
I wonder if there will be the round XXX
is it rated?
i don't see any reason to do this round unrated.
And it
will be in accordance with classic Codeforces rules.
Yes. It will be rated for all participants (i.e. it is rated for both divisions).
MikeMirzayanov When i am trying to register for this round it is showing I am registering out of competition. Upd: The issue has been resolved.
Is it okay, that I need to tick?
If you're interested in Grakn Labs internships or job offers in UK (London), please please fill in the form.
Maybe it's their way of saying they only have onsite positions, not remote ones.
It's going to be winter in the northern hemisphere, so a T-shirt comes in very handy!
is it rated??
No info about who is the testers or setter. Moreover whether the round is rated or not?
it will be div1+div2, rated
Thanks
you are welcum
We will post one more announcement 1 day before the round: it will include writers and testers.

Combined
Is This contest rated?
Yes it is.
why only i am getting more dislikes
Yes
Can I code in C++ in this contest?
Most likely.
why not? of course you can
is it the first Grakn Forces in codeforces? If no,Please give me the link.
Is the list of problemsetters a confidential data? Or will it be announced later?
Mike replied above. They will post one more announcement 1 day before the contest.

Is it rated?
This question has been answered (multiple times) in above comments
.....
Wow, I just noticed this is a normal CF round.
I thought it was going to be an unofficial Grakn round, like how CF hosts the Q# challenge and advertised the ICPC Graph Mining challenge (https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/79078).
Ok!.Now I just Want to ask that the questions in this round will be similar to that of other CF rounds or it will be some other type of contest.
ya i also wanted to know this
as it is rated contest, so questions must be similar to other rounds with similar difficulty level !
Round 657 was rated too bruh.
Yeah Then?
Please add Rated for both divisions to the blog title. I thought it is unrated until I scrolled down to read comments.
Does rating matters for getting good jobs
Well being good at ds-algo matters, and if you are good your rating will prolly be high.
black lives mattter
We all can understand that but we downvoted you still because this is not the correct platform to raise this issue. Codeforces has for long been a focussed Community for Competitive Programming and the community generally sways itself from any politics, religious, racial or ethnic and ..... issues. All lives are already equal here.
Is there a salary for that job?
.
is not submitted code visible for everyone ?
Here are the winners of Grakn Labs swag pack (stickers + Grakn Labs t-shirt)!
Congratulations!
Hi @KAN, As I have not received my t-shirt yet, I was wondering if that is normal, and if there is an estimation of when I will be receiving it. I really appreciate your support. Thanks.
You should ask Una_Shem. She takes care of these.
Thank you :)
