Why was CF down for a day ?

Why was CF down for a day? Is there some new feature that has been implemented or just maintanance?

    Important or Dependent? Ther are lots OJs for practicing and training. But we are being more and more dependent on cf

          well probably it is based on the number of people using CF. Plus, CF has great communities (for instance, Atcoder also uses CF community).

          It was indeed up at some time window while CF was down, but for quite a while I couldn't access Polygon either.

Finally, I found out that my solutions from Tuesday were correct. But seems that some API is still not working (at least /api/contest.status).

Just Realized how much Codeforeces is important to me as well as everyone. A large no. of People here makes this platform the most widely used and one the best CP Platforms and community.

    I think, the current UI is perfect, it is lightweight, so people with poor internet connection are not affected, and it is also elegant IMO.
