Hello everyone, today I'm trying to launch my Topcoder applet but there was an error on javaws. That is: "Initialization error: Could not initialize application. The application has not been initialized. For more information execute javaws from the command line"
So does anyone have a problem like me ? How do I solve this. Thanks a lot :)

Yes, I've installed icedtea-netx and I can use Applet for 8 months. But today, I can not open it and I don't understand why
You can try to reinstall icedtea maybe it can help.
I did it. But not work :'(. I tried uninstall java, javac, javaws and reinstall. But it does not solve this problem :'(. May I use another computer ?
I think this issue is from topcoder server side because i just checked mine is also showing the same error :( .
Oh my god !! I thought that was my fault because I want to solve Topcoder Open Round1B problems today. Thank you a lot for showing me that problem :D
I am also getting same error today.
This error might be because of java version. All online threads suggests to downgrade the java version to openjdk 8 from openjdk 11.
P.S. — I don't suggest to downgrade java manually just to run applet. It may cause problems with other applications that use java. I suggest you to use web arena instead.
I made submissions yesterday, but can't open it now. Exact same error.
