We will hold THIRD Programming Contest 2021 (AtCoder Heuristic Contest 007).

AtCoder Heuristic Contest (AHC) is a new series of programming contests that will be held regularly on AtCoder. Unlike algorithm contests such as ABC/ARC/AGC, the goal is to create a better solution to a problem for which it is difficult to find the optimal solution. We are planning to hold a long-term contest with a duration of more than a week and a short-term contest with a duration of less than a day, alternately about once a month.

We are looking forward to your participation!

The registration form is all in Japanese, except for this part:

Due to the specifications of the AtCoder input form, the items that are required for Japanese speakers are also required for English speakers. Please fill in all forms with * and check the checkbox.

Do you mean that we can just put "*" strings into all the fields that are marked as required? Or do we need to use Google Translate's assistance to fill this form with something meaningful?

If I remember correctly, the international users were given an already pre-filled form (which basically said "I'm not a Japanese, none of this applies to me") and only needed to press one button when registering for the older AtCoder contests.

You can just put "*" strings.

This is the case when a text box is a required field. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I can't find any announcement from wata about another HACK TO THE FUTURE 2022 Final (Open Contest) contest (maybe because it's unrated?), but it has just started half an hour ago. The total duration is 8 hours, so it's still not too late to join and have fun. See you there.
