fvogel's blog

Currently the contest starts in ~45 min and I've found no blog about it, so I created one.

This is my first time participating in Round 3. Good luck to everyone! And feel free to discuss the problems after the end of the round.

UPD: I actually ranked #500 (preliminary rankings), pretty happy of my performance. And I got all my points in the first hour :).

Hello Codeforces,

Looking at the IOI regulations for keyboards and mice, the following are allowed to be brought by the contestant:

  • keyboards (without wireless, calculation, and/or programmable functions),
  • mouse (without wireless and/or calculation functions) and mouse pads,

It is worth buying a wired mechanical keyboard for IOI in order to get used to it?

What are your thoughts on this? For those who have already been to onsite IOIs, which keyboards did you use?

Hello Codeforces,

I couldn't find any blog on this year's round C so I decided to create one. Feel free to post your feedback and ideas on the contest.

Personally for me the start of the contest went pretty well. Problem D was particularly interesting and I solved it quickly. However I found problem C quite harder and got quite a few WAs. But I finally got a perfect score!

I plan on hosting a live discussion about the problems from this contest today at 6:00 PM UTC. The link will be posted here shortly. See you there!

Happy coding :)
