The UIUC ICPC club is excited to invite you to the online mirror of Illinois Programming League 2026, an ICPC-style team contest that will be held starting Apr/25/2026 21:25 (Moscow time). The mirror will be held on Codeforces as a mashup: invite link. The mirror is open to everyone.
The contest is 4 hours and meant for teams of up to three people. Unlike the standard ICPC rules of one computer per team, teams are asked to use at most two computers at a time in this contest. In addition, most problems will be released at the beginning of the contest, but a few problems will be released at various times later in the contest. The exact details will be added to this post later. (update: see below)
The contest spans a wide range of difficulties (Div. 4 to mid-Div. 1), with problems appropriate for both beginners and experienced participants.
The problems were prepared and authored by Auchenai01, conqueror_of_tourist, twosquares, and YuukiS.
Thanks to our testers: RockingMat, BucketPotato, cleanup, dyzhang, enyaa, YoBaconMaster, minhnguyenxuan60, Andwerp, jlass_, kevin, kevinyang, reisen, Owstin, misty, arnavsrivastava0123, conqueror_of_4fecta, Gilwall, mtand872.
Also, thanks to our sponsors Hudson River Trading, Chicago Trading Company, and MathWorks for supporting the onsite contest.
We hope you enjoy the problems!
Update: Two problems will be released at approximately 1 hour and 2 hours into the contest, for four additional problems in total. The scoreboard will be frozen in the last hour. The problems released may be of any difficulty.
Among the problems released at the beginning, the first four problems (A-D) are intended to be the easiest. The remaining problems may be of any difficulty, and they are not ordered by difficulty.
Update: Due to queue issues from system testing of the recent Codeforces round, as well as possible delays in the onsite contest, the mirror will be delayed by 15 minutes.
Update: The problems, along with the combined results from the mirror and onsite, have been uploaded to the gym: IPL 2026. Feel free to discuss in our Discord server, where there are solution sketches as well.
