The Numbers That Tell a Story When I look at my profile stats, I see more than just numbers—I see dedication:
279 problems solved in just three months 60-day solving streak maintained consistently 137 problems solved in the last month alone Peak rating: 1236 (Pupil rank achieved!)
But the most meaningful number? That first time I saw "Pupil" next to my name. It wasn't just a color change from gray to green—it was validation that consistent effort pays off. The Journey to Pupil I still remember the nervous excitement before contests, the frustration of getting Wrong Answer on test 2, and the rush of finally seeing "Accepted" after debugging for hours. Each contest taught me something new:
Problem-solving isn't just about knowing algorithms—it's about thinking clearly under pressure Consistency beats occasional bursts of motivation Every wrong submission is a lesson, not a failure
The grind through UV problems and maintaining my CP practice streak wasn't always easy. There were days when I wanted to skip, when problems seemed impossible, when my rating dropped and I felt discouraged. But I kept showing up. What Worked for Me Daily Practice: That 60-day streak wasn't built on motivation alone—it was built on discipline. Even on tough days, solving at least one problem kept the momentum going. Active Learning: I didn't just solve problems; I studied them. Reading editorials, understanding different approaches, and learning from others' code made a huge difference. Contest Participation: Every contest was an opportunity to test myself. Win or lose, each one taught me to code faster, think clearer, and handle pressure better. Looking Forward to 2026 Reaching pupil was amazing, but it's just the beginning. My goals for the new year:
Maintain and extend my problem-solving streak Push toward specialist rank (cyan) Dive deeper into advanced topics like segment trees, DP optimization, and graph algorithms Help others who are starting their CP journey, just as others helped me.
