Hi everyone! Codeforces Month Of Blog Posts Pt. III has ended on February 11th. Sorry for the delay of the results!
I've chosen 4 blogs to be named winners, and here they are: Sacha and SorahISA each win $150, tch1cherin wins $100, and SendThemToHell wins $50. Congratulations! You may notice the sums don't add up to $400. This is because in the meantime I've received a donation to go forward to the prize pool! Thank you donor who will remain anonymous until they agree for me to post their name.
Here are the links and brief reviews of each winner blogs:
Sacha for Auxiliary Trees for QlogQ offline queries about Dynamic Forest, a formalization of a trick used for calculating various properties (that may even be persistent!) in trees that are subject to structural changes.
SorahISA for DP on Edges, an exploration in the properties of graphs with treewidth 2 and a general technique for approaching problems that employ such graphs.
tch1cherin for On applications of CDQ Divide & Conquer; title is quite self-explanatory, but the depth of the trick has been surprising to me and I believe many readers will find it similarly compelling.
SendThemToHell for Taylor Formula in CP, presenting a cute trick to opening (many?) mathematical functions to segment-tree like updates.
I'd like to thank both the winners and all other contestant for their submissions and contributions to the community! As I mentioned in the opening blog, the distribution of the prizes is purely subjective, not rendering thus the other any less meaningful. So please check them all out!
